ProvenanceIn this image, two men stand near each other with alcoholic beverages in their hands. A bottle of wine and a beer jug are displayed on a small table on the right side of the print. A pool table is placed directly behind the two men. The expressions on their faces as well as the proximity at which the man on the right stands to tell something to his friend suggest that these men have enjoyed quite a few drinks. The caption notes that these men would not want to be caught by their wives in this situation.
