ProvenanceOfficial presentation album of photographs of the 6th Army during the battles in Kharkov and Steppe (12.5 - 30.5.1942). Of particular interest are images of thousands of Soviet prisoners (including female POWs), destroyed Soviet armour and artillery and burning villages. Of the many images of advancing Wehrmacht soldiers is one which captures in the background a Propaganda Unit film cameraman.
