ProvenanceGerman WW2 album of an unknown mariner who served on various ships including the destroyer Hans Lüdemann and torpedo boat T9 in the Baltic and North Atlantic. Photographs document basic naval and flak training, swearing-in ceremony in Stralsund, ships and shipping in port and at sea, mine laying and a torpedo launch. Includes many purchased images of German warships. Ports photographed include Bremen, Bergen, Stavanger and Stettin. 253 Destroyer. Nice photo of dazzle camouflage on ship. Album concludes with loose photographs of a 1956 reunion and grave (postwar).
