ProvenanceThe second of five albums of an unnamed soldier (or soldiers) in Wehrmacht Artillery Regiment 109. Photographs document his service during the Battle of France. Of interest are pictures of advancing German armoured columns, firing artillery and devastated French towns. Also included are photographs of downed RAF aircraft (including a Hawker Hurricane), French prisoners of war and graves. Album contains an unusual single image of French school boys. Some brief captions.
