ProvenanceSecond of three albums of an officer - possibly Lt. Magnus Füchsel - of the 218. Inf.Div / Inf.Rgt 323. Photographs - which are in loose chronological order - document the occupation of Denmark with snapshops of Copenhagen (harbour, fish market, civic buildings, officers' quarters and divisional offices) and sightseeing excursions to destinations including the 16th-century castle Kronborg in Helsingør. Album also contains photographs of basic artillery field training with motorcycle-drawn anti-tank-guns. Füchsel appears to have been the unit's unofficial photographer, offering reprints to his fellow officers. Captions.
